At ISI, we provide comprehensive inspection services that will help reduce risk, ensure receiving products with the right quantity and quality, and inspect the means of transportation to ensure suitability for loading agriculture/food products. Cargo supervision to ensure only sound cargo is loaded on board vessel holds or marine containers.
ISI has qualified inspectors in this field who have long experience both in the inspection of agriculture and food products, and an excellent knowledge of the handling and logistics procedures for these products.
Inspection and Sampling services in our Agricultural Division are performed as per GAFTA, FOSFA and SAOL procedures and guidelines. Quality services are carried out according to clients’ contractual requirements.

1. Agri Storage Conditions
Cleanliness verification of warehouse, silos and vessels holds. Suitability of wagons, railcars, trucks and containers.
4. Quality
Performed by an independent certified lab. Commercial grade determination.
2. Quantity Determination
Quantity is determined by means of scales, lift scales, conveyor belt, troth screw, draft survey, humidity proving and foreign matters.
5. Time Log
Principal events related to custody transfer will be documented.
3. Sampling
Drawing & Composite of representative samples by scooping and sieving methods.
6. Reporting
Detailed reports to be sent via email or fax upon confirmation with final hard copy to be sent via first class mail to Principals, Terminals and local Customs as required.
