Issuing a quality mark certificate

Issuing a Quality Certificate/Mark for Electrical, Electrical and Electronic Goods Exported to Iraq
This is to inform all manufacturers and exporters of electrical, electrical and electronic goods to Iraq that from 01/12/2025, obtaining a Quality Mark/Certificate from the Central Organization for Standards and Quality Control of Iraq is mandatory.
– Seezan International Inspection Company, the representative of Manahel Al-Khalij Company, is responsible for inspecting, evaluating and completing the necessary documents to issue a quality certificate or mark and sending it to the Central Organization for Standards and Quality Control of Iraq.

 Steps for issuing a Quality Mark/Certificate
Companies producing/exporting electrical, electrical and electronic products to export their products to Iraq must prepare and submit the following documents to Seezan International Inspection Company to obtain a quality mark/certificate.
1- The manufacturing company sends an application for the Iraqi Quality Mark for each product to the Seezan International Inspection Company.
2- Providing documents on quality control activities
3- Providing a list of equipment used in the process of inspection and monitoring of the product and its calibration by an accredited institution
4- Providing registration documents of the manufacturing company applying for the Iraqi Quality Mark
5- Declaration of costs by the Seezan Inspection Company
6- Taking samples from the product and conducting tests and obtaining quality information
7- Studying documents on quality control and calibration activities.
8- Reviewing the production, inspection and warehousing process on site
9- Taking samples from the final product during the site visit for inspection purposes
10- Preparing a report with the results of the conformity test

 Issuing a certificate / quality mark
– The certificate / quality mark is issued 15 days after receiving the inspection report by the Central Organization for Standards and Quality Control of Iraq.
– The issued certificate is valid for one year from the date of issuance.
– After obtaining the certificate/quality mark, the manufacturing company must install it as a colored label on all its exported goods to Iraq.
– All costs of inspection and issuance of the quality certificate are the responsibility of the manufacturing company.
